Song 44 : Genius my foot!

I feel so lucky today because Pn Zura was absent and she didnt give any homework beforehand!

Wohoo!!!!!!

Anyway, surprisingly, the one sitting behind me decided to puasa. Claims he will last a month before he buka puasa again. Doubt it. Mwhahahahah

That TC boy was really annoying in chemistry Tuition today. We were learning about rubber being made from latex or also known as rubber milk. Then he started saying we can produce rubber using normal milk!!

Genius

PURE GENIUS

Maybe he can experiment
by injecting progesterone into his own chest and mass produce the milk drawn out from his nipple as rubber!!!!

Then we have human rubber!!!

WOW!!!!!

hE'S GOING TO WIN THE NEXT NOBEL!!!!!!!!!!!

Song 43 : Birthday at Pau's

Siew Hoong's belated birthday party was sorta fun! However, the number of guests have decreased compared to last year's by a few. Maybe it was due to the Hari Komunikasi that enraged parents about their children's results, therefore forbidding them from going?

I don't know.

Anyway, I was the first to arrive, then Foo Mun, Wil Shen, Ern Wei, Mun Keong, Xian Yung, Seik San, Kenny, Kok Leong, and the rest.

Like last year, we had steamboat again!!!!

Unlike last year, this year is more FUN!

The food is better as well!

We have weenies, crab sticks (don't you dare laugh Kenny!), fishballs, meatballs, prawns (I don't eat prawns actually), yee mee, yellow noodles, meat, seafood tofu, meat, and that bean curd roll thingy.

And what's best is that we get Tom Yam as the Steamboat soup (or whatever you call it) and cold orange cordial for drinks! Pretty cool huh?

Oh, Besides the best part, I forgot the better than best part, Siew Hoong's parents aren't in, so we could do and say whatever we one, especially when it comes to the playing with food part!
haha
Ok, we didn't actually played with food by starting a food fight or stuffing weenies in our nostrils, but we got to joke around and devour our food in a very barbaric manner(So we aren't wasting)

Anyway, everyone got so excited when the pot's cover got opened that we would forge our way through the forest of chopsticks, trying to grab anything for the hungry guy wielding it.

So in the end, we decided to have a representative from each table to play the Nombor game and whoever wins get to scoop as many as he wants, to share with the rest sitting around his table, first.

Sadly we lost. But who plays by the rules!? Rules are meant to be broken!!
So everyone's ladles and chopsticks dived into the pot simultaneously despite the agreement, creating a pandemonium.

Goodness, all hell really has broken loose.

But it was fun really. And so many topics were brought up while waiting for the food to boil.

Like Siew Hoong taking Girafah's Hard candy, TengTeng and Nini embracing each other in the beach while the sunsets (haha), MunMun and his Nana etc.

We really had a good time filling our stomachs with such scrumptious food while tickling ourselves silly with all that silly jokes that keep popping up.

After that, It was PS2 time. Ah Pau's steering wheel for racing game is really sucky (he claims Xian Yung ruined it). But judging the way siew hoong handle things and his self-proclaimed ability to whack a tennis ball to the speed of 360 km a second (faster than Hurricane Nargis! Wow! a World record!) I doubt how veritable his words are. (Haha)

But it was really fun, for one to control the steering wheel and the other to control the break and acceleration. But boy, does it need a lot of teamwork! And teamwork was what Ern Wei and I lacked, resulting in a wretched vehicle that is only capable of 32 MPH averagely (hei, at least its faster than Streamyx!)

Later it was Naruto time! I sucked in this game. Like hell I do. And it seems that Mr. Pau was eagerly trying to get me to rumble with him so that he could kick my butt at any opportunity. Celaka
Anyway, The game was really Cool! The fighting style was so WOW! It actually made me feel like watching Naruto (which I have decided to watch after SPM).

I Really had a fun time there. But siew hoong wasnt that impressed with my glow in the dark stars compared to how amazed he was when he saw ern wei's manga and Foo mun and wil shen's Dumbology and KBSR Figures of Speech book.

But hey, at least its not as bad as those who went empty handed!
haha

Song 42 : I'm Sorry

Look i realised what i said to TMGS was put into words wrongly, therefore, creating a misunderstanding.

Let me repeat it again,
Ke and TM were fighting for third, SGI and TM were fighting for second, and SGI and Convent were fighting for first.
(Ok the SGI and TM were fighting for second part wasn't in the msg because i ended up deleting it before sending it, as the message will be too long and will be broken into another message which is more expensive. I know its a lame and dumb excuse, but honestly that's that. I just removed it thinking its rather unimportant, but looks like its one of the most vital part)

Anyway, when I said that, I never meant to put you guys down, just that i meant that you guys should be thankful that you didn't go back empty handed unlike the other 6 schools. And i now its wrong for me to make baseless comments to explain. But i was just giving my opinion and never knew it would be made public. If i knew so many people would find out and get hurt by it, I would have kept it to myself.

Anyhow, I am truly sincerely sorry for what i said if i sliced you guys (although i know the hurt is irrevocable)
But honestly, the judge's decisions are final, there is really no point debating over whether convent should be disqualified for the floor scenes.

I know you guys are aiming for first but don't you think it's a little too cruel to get convent, that practiced 6 hours per day and ended up with sore throat and bruises after every practice, disqualified just because of 2 floor scenes that was not even a written rule?

And even if the judges really don't know the rules, i am sure that, Pn cecilia would ask the opinion of last year's judges regarding this technique, because everyone knows that she is a very experienced drama teacher.

All I am saying is every competition needs only one champion. So no matter what, we should try our best without expecting anything. That's what I told my members on the competition day.

Even if we lose, we will feel proud of ourselves because we know, we gave every effort we got and sweated a whole hell lot for it.

In the end of the day, we are all winners, each and every one of us. Let's not bother about the placing, but if the competition allowed first, second and third to the next level, I am sure we will end up seeing each other again in the national level!

Because everyone of us that performed that day were extremely good, even God can't deny that and I am sure He will give us credit for it someday, someway.

Song 42 : The Drama Ended

CHE.R.RY - YUI

yeah~

drama competition is OVER.
It was held in Smk Convent and there were ten participating schools this year compared to last year's nine. Sure, the increase in the number of participating schools definitely scared us.
However, as usual, there are really only four schools participating in the English Drama Competition.

SGI was the first school to perform and I guess we did pretty well judging the applause we managed to harvest from the crowd and the zero-error in our performance.
Haha
I was really very excited before it. I can feel my stomach leaping around like a spring as cold sweat drenched me.
Wei Li did a perfect job controlling the music today and See Huang's vase breaking timing was impeccable.
Everything went perfectly well.
The telepathy scene definitely boosted up our marks for creativity while the recorded voice flashback added more sparks to the scene.
A lot of people were impressed by Daniel's and Arun's performance behind the turquoise curtain. Who would expect a little anne to be used in the scene? And best of all, the operation lighting and the covering the little anne part was nice.
Haha. A lot of people liked the "Mama! Come back!" part. They said it was effective.
However, the scene that i favoured the most was the "touching hands scene" Felt it was really touching. Haha
Anyway, we were super relieved and proud of ourselves when we got off the stage. Somehow, it's hard to believe one long year's practice ended in just 20 minutes!
But it was fun!
Seriously It WAS FUN!!!!!
Haha

KE's performance was good, however they ended abruptly with a very quaint anti-climax which failed to embed any moral values in the drama costing them a whole lot of marks. Besides that, I think people got annoyed with the scenes that kept changing every minute resulting with more curtain closed scenes than the drama itself.

TMGS was superb with their outstanding storyline and swarm of actresses speaking in a very authentic British accent. Those were definitely an added advantage for them. However, their drama gave equal focus to all characters, drowning the importance of their major characters. But I must admit, it really was a great performance besides those.

SGI pula was weaker compared to the other 4 schools in voice projection. The ligthing effect isnt really that sophisticated too compared to KE's shooting scene, TM's arrival of the witch scene and convent's beating up scene.

Convent was undeniably good (as usual). But, i never knew they could act below the stage. This could be a bit of trouble of them in the future during states level.

Anyway, yup you guessed it.
Convent grabbed first whereas TMGS gained the second runner up title.

And we, the Georgian Puppeteers 2008 / 2007 grasped the first runner up title!!!!!!!!
When they announced that, we were so happy and we started doing the Tepuk Lassalian 4 times!

I know, most schools were entering to snatch the first place, but the title that we really desperately wanted to claim was the second place! And we got it!

Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to be sour grapes, but it really was a secret among us. I mean we were also half hoping for the first place and half hoping for the other.

It may really sound weird, but we have our own reasons, that is we
-want to concentrate on our studies which we will be unable to if we go to the next level as we will be busy practicing
-are lazy to perform during Hari Anugerah
-thought we might not be in the top 3, hence, better a place than not

and because some of our members will be unable to perform the next stage, as some of us will be having trials

Anyhow, anyway, I really was blasting with joy!!!!!!
Every Georgian was!!!!!
Even Thilages (not sure of the spelling LOL) was there to join in the fun of yelling and clapping!!!
Cik Nurul, Pn Monica, Pn Susila And Mr. Koay were obviously very proud of us considering the fact that everything in the drama was handled by the drama members themselves. Other clubs didn't even chipped in to help one bit unlike other schools! However, we did well!!!!!!
So damn happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!

haha

Especially when we found out that convent beat us by only one mark which made us feel so proud because we managed to put up a good fight against them since they were so extremely good.

Anyway, GOOD LUCK Convent drama team! Make sure you become the national champ! All SGI drama members commend your performance and are pretty sure that you gals can really kick ass in the states level!!!!!

Make us proud for losing to you gals!!!!!

Song 41 : All the SGI Bloggers

really
since this month, a whole lot of people started blogging!
And all of them have their reasons
-eager to join the fun of blogging
-want to rekindle the blogging spirit when they see their friends having a blog
-spend some time doing something fun while waiting for their anime and Korean drama to finnish downloading
-(and of course) to caci people through comments LOL

Anyhow, anyway
This blogging phenomenon has really brought us together. Now, we can 'see' each other's lives, share some friendly advices (excluding the caci part la lol) and keep in touch when we leave school.
It's really cool that many of our friends started blogging! If you are a Georgian, and you want to read or link other friends' blog, you can visit them by clicking their names on my Pals section.
Cheers~
and
Happy Blogging!

Song 39 : Sien lor

once again, Pn Zuraini will not be in shcool for another 3 days!
If Pn. Zura wasnt Pn. Zura I would be rejoicing now and the class would have been chanting the yahoo mantra all day long
However, Pn. Zura is Pn. Zura!
And Pn. Zura gives less homework when she is around compared to when she's not!!
Now, what kind of teacher does that?
The Pn. Zura kind of teacher!

we can obviously see that she is a diligent teacher
However, we are not diligent students!(obviously)

Anyhow, Tian Jian was sleeping like a pig (again) in class.
This time, he slept in a very queer way. he actually looked emo when he got drifted of to slumberland!
His face was so emo and his hands were sticking out like an emo zombie
So I decided to be a good pal and paint his fingernails blue with my buncho poster colors to enhance the emo look
Things were going on well until i painted the last finger, then he popped his eyes open and went "Why my fingers so cold and wet one ah?"
As his gaze shifted to me, he spotted the brush in my hand and discovered that he had azure nails.
In the end he ended up wiping it on my face
So LCR ended up having blue streaks across his features

What a noble way to return my favour!

Song 38 : No beef for buddhists?

Suddenly i had this urge to grab some Big Macs and Have a big chomp
i really can't remember the last time i devoured one, i think it was 3 months ago.
how awfully long
I know what many of you are thinking now, How can a Buddhist possibly eat beef?
as far as i know, there are three main types of buddhism
-Teravada
-Mahayana
-Vajryavana
In case you didnt realise, most of these buddhists that abstain from eating beef are actually mahayana or Taoist. According to my dad, they don't eat beef because the God of mercy, Guan Yin does not eat beef as she was derived from a Hindhu god.
As we all know, Hindhus don't eat beef as cow is considered as a sacred animal in India.
So now we all know why some buddhists eat beef while some don't and why some become vegetarians on certain days while some don't.
by the way
I am a teravadian buddhist

Song 37 : Apple Sundae = Orgasm?

Macdonalds' Apple Sundae is so delicious that it is synonymous to orgasm.
Ok maybe that is not a good simile to use
but it really tastes good
yummy
the sweetness and tanginess of the sundae lingers in your mouth when you sink your teeth in it
accompanied with a tinge of sourness, this little ice cream is definitely going to tantalize your tastebuds and let you have a glimpse of Nirvana

Song 36 : High School Musical poll

Who voted High Shcool Musical is not childish? I demand to know!

Song 34 : EMO?

Ok
more and more girls are undergoing this black metamorphosis and turning themselves emo!
EMO!!!!!
What's so nice about being emo?
Life is so dull with only black and white and streaks of blue!
Then, why turn emo?????
What happened to the good old days when girls adore themselves in pink and hop around, humming?????
What happened???????
Now so many girls are painting themselves pitch black and wailing how unfair the world is!!! They go on sorrow overdrive when they trip over a bannana skin and start flooding the Earth with their tears as if Noah was waiting with his gargantuan arc!
I don't get it.

Song 33 : High School Musical

This is the suckiest movie I ever watched. It is so lame and gay. I really think that it is overated. Stupid show
Every now and then I hear some dumb kids (teenagers actually) yell high school musical rocks!
I hate that show

Song 32 : Monster of Melaka

the facilities in Melaka are really improving.
The last trip we had wireless and now we have a plasma tv and astro!
wow`
then it wouldn't be that boring here anymore,
or would it?
it may appear as a blessing on the surface, but deep down in the core, it might actually be a bane.
As Astro has five 24/7 cartoon channels, now we couldn't watch anyhing else but baby cartoons!
I woulnd't really mind watching cartoons, but that darn MH keeps changing the channel every minute. Just when we were about to absorb what's happening, boom!
the channel switches
now this gets really annoying when we can't even say anything. This spoilt brat will go around begging for sympathy from his parents if he wasn't the lord of the remote.
Among all i dislike MH the most. In fact, he is the only one i despise.
His voice is freaky and the way he acts is freakier.
Argh!
He is a pampered brat.
