Anyway, i'm kinda ok with this idea of going there, its like some kind of American summer camp that we watch in movies
It might actually be fun, who knows?
Not trying to be sour grapes or a hypocrite, but since the events turned out like this, might as well look at the positive side rather than sulk right?
Anyhow, i find it a little annoying that people laugh at us and say "good for you! you will suffer like in hell! You will eat food that taste like shit there!"
I know that they are extremely delighted that they weren't chosen, but must they tell us all these?
Its hard to be optimistic with all those words that they are saying
But im trying
and so are the other 13 people (the number might grow)
thus, if you are on of those that go around saying words like that, think again.
Some people are already down with that idea of going there and shaving their scalps off, and you on the other hand, are busy mocking them.
I'm sure you wouldnt like that done to you too right?
So my advice, dont do it.
Instead of making all that "you die d la" comments, just console them and remind them its not that bad.

lol. i got the same kind of responses too la. it's like. die la go there. sure ur ass pecah and all.[just take it and and say to urself-i can pull thru this la]
and to make things worse, i was the one hating and loathing the gov for small little things that just don seem right[to me at least]. there was this eng oral when i presented something sickenin bout our gov and how i abhorred and harboured ill-feelings against those shuttlecocks[if u noe wat i mean].
and in the end i got NATIONAL service. which came as a BIG SURPRISED for me. well, the moral of my story, don hate it, don loathe it! it will come to YOU if you harbour any hatred towards it. and u better be taking it easy. like living wit malays and all. i dono bout ur camp la but the food in my camp sucks to the extreme. but remember, this is part of growin up. go wit an open heart and make sure, make sure, u learn SOMETHING GOOD there.[something u can say in future like -luckilly i went to NS and learnt bout that-] MAKE SURE. like being independent and mingling with other races in which THOSE WHO LAUGH at us don get to learn. or like wash ur own clothes and yea. the kembara halangan and flyin fox was really fun. and maybe u'll feel the pinch of separation at the end of it[u noe three months together thru all the good and bad times[gud like got rewards and bad times like kena marah and hukum from ketua jurulatih] don worry hukuman all in group wan cz they want to tanamkan sikap togetherness and oneness.
all in all, just go there and learn something u CAN BE REALLY PROUD OF[be it frenship or watsoever].
