Song 48 : A tribute to Mr Sam

This Friday we went for our LIE class and watched a very cool movie. Its called Shawshank Redemption(i think) and its about prison life.

However, we did not watch the whole movie as time is limited. Will continue the next half next week.

Anyway, Mr Chan is a very dedicated teacher.
My mum said he was very sick on Thursday. Lost his voice, had a sore throat and flu (if i am not mistaken)
Yet, he refused to take a leave and forced himself to school.
He didnt even cancel the LIE class despite his condition which really impressed me,

So far i had never seen such a responsible teacher, bursting with such vibrant life and enthusiasm before!

There is so much passion in his teaching!
We can obviously see that he is not teaching for the sake of teaching, but he is treating it as if its not only his job, but his life.

Who would want to come to school every weekend and vomit tonnes of knowledge to a bunch of ungrateful teenagers, when you don't even earn a single cent?

If you were to ask me that question, i would say

MR. CHAN!!!

First of all, its not even his job to teach us LIE, but he volunteered to. He could have just made as if it wasn't his business or demanded tuition fees form us,

but NO!

Instead, he wanted to teach the convent girls without earning extra money, and invited us, georgians to join the fun as well!!!

Now, i know, some of you guys will think

Who would be so dumb to do that??

MR. CHAN!!!!!!

And mind you, he is not dumb,
but a super dedicated teacher that takes teaching seriously and lives up to the saying "actions speak louder than words"!

and for that, he is the best teacher in the world!!!!!
Yeah~

agreed...with evrything u say..Mr Chan is definitely the best teacher around. Eventhough he's often busy with activities and such, he is still willing to be abit busier by taking the responsibility to teach LIE.

And he's not just any ordinary teacher, he makes LIE so ALIVE. He sang songs with us, wrote poems with us, make us draw that naukar fella, tell us some of his stories to keep us from being bored, shares with us some extra info non-LIE, let us watch movies, treat us at secret recipe, bought us some souvenirs, he even stays young and hip at his age! love his coolness with his hair and jeans!

What more can u want from this teacher?

agreed again... volunteering to teach an extra difficult sub is already tough but he is doing it for free.. NOT ONLY THAT, he is bringing back souvenirs almost each time he went for courses, teaches us extra than wat required, made us believe in ourselves and know that nobody in this world determine who can write and who can't except for u urself, now we know that u dun need to be w.Shakespeare to write a poem.
NOT ONLY THAT, he is spending PRECIOUS TIME on us while he has the choice to spend it on something of his own liking.
its not the money he spent on us that made us write wat v r writing, but its the sacrifices- the time, the effort, everything. its not easy staying awake just to browse through the net to look for notes- especially when u need to go through them and selects the good ones. from the stuff he gave us, we can c effort there, we can c commitment there as if he is the one taking SPM.
if every teaches is half of wat he is our students would definitely love school and love learning... that's wat happen to this bunch of ungrateful kid-until we met MR Chan..
i think this is the way teachers should be...
p/s he really deserve the best teacher on earth or something close to that...

haha, that was what me and a couple of my classmates did to acknowledge him as the best teacher in the world.
we gave him a cup which says
"best teacher in the world" for teachers' day last year :)

agreed...i agreed with you...Mr. Chan is the best teacher among the teachers i knew. He didn't charge us a cent when teaching us. I heard my friend said that he mst pay RM 10 per day to study for Literature in Chinese (LIC)in Hua Lian. He is an open-minded person too. I salute and respect him.
